The loud final note of a guitar fades slowly into the applause of one pair of hands.

“Thank you, Thank you,” says Courtney.
“Ahehehehe, that was amazing. Keep it up!” cheers the sole member of her audience, Yvan.

She isn’t at all upset by the turnout. This is the only fan she wants to play for today. It’s a private Father’s Day concert, after all.

“Keep it up?? I’ve already given you three encores!”
“I’ve got all day, ahehehe.”
“That’s unfortunately true. It is your day…”

The guitar quickly kicks back into gear, encouraged to life by whistles, cheers, applause, and of course, laughter. Ahehehe.

Time for an uncharacteristically short post, hopefully. Just did a little playing around with the links on my blog. Editing, adding, that kinda thing. The addition of Mugen’s blog was pretty much a must, but I also threw MaiMai’s up there too, a little surprisingly… The more and more I look at the art, the more and more enamored with it I become… What else is there to say except I think it’s cute? Anyway, maybe I’ll find a few more blogs to add in the near future, even if Planet EVN does most of the work for me.

With only an hour left in the month of October, I’m scrambling to get my post-a-month quota accomplished. And it only leads into something that’s been on my mind a little from time to time recently. Do I post enough? A post a month is not a bad system for me by any means, and I can usually find some interesting topic to discuss when the motion hits me. But I do see a lot of other bloggers out there at a much much faster pace than me, and I wonder if that’s something for me. If I could really do it, or even want to. I have taken to not counting any future fiction posts as part of my quota, but I’m still on the fence about upping the personal requirement… This was just a bad month in general though, which is why this one has been put off to the last second. Innumberable distractions have kept me away from just about any form of writing. Gotta start buckling down a little more there, Drakey!! I’m sure Enerccio has a few choice words on that subject, but I’ll spare the readership such abusive language.

[ I guess this is good enough? If only I let all of my posts be this short, things would go easier for me... ]

It certainly isn’t new for me to try to keep an eye out on some of the authors and makers of the EVN community, but lately I’ve decided to pick up on following a few of their blogs as well. It’s grown a little tiring to sift thru reply post after reply post in the forums if all I’m really looking for word from the author themselves on what they are doing. The blog scene makes really short work of this, though, so I’m gonna try to keep up with a few of the more interesting ones.

It wasn’t too easy to build the small list I do have in the sidebar though. A good half of the ones I did find on my own are either inactive or outright dead… and some didn’t seem to be heading into a long lived life either. But I still managed to grab a few of the more amusing ones after a little bit of effort. I am following more than what I’ve put on the sidebar of course, but those are the ones I deemed more worthwhile to share, as well as to read for that matter. I’m certainly not the type to maintain an exhaustive and comprehensive list of blogs…

That said, if there are any suggestions on EVN blogs or sites that are worth looking at, I certainly will give ‘em a peek. I’d like to have a few more links than I do, and I hope to build them up over time so keep an eye out on that sidebar.
